Venerdì 18 maggio, alle ore 14:00, nell'aula B del Dipartimento di Matematica e Fisica della Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, il Professore  Francoise Point, della Université de Mons, Belgio,  terrà un seminario dal titolo

«Topological fields with a generic derivation and the distality property»



Abstract: For certain theories T of topological large fields, we showed with Nicolas Guzy that their expansions T_D with a generic derivation D admits a model-completion T^*_D. After reviewing some examples and the basic properties of these theories, we will examine the transfer of the distality property which was introduced by Pierre Simon. This is an ongoing project with Pablo Cubidès.
