Giovedì 14 febbraio, alle ore 14:30, nell'aula G (ex Psicologia) del Dipartimento di Matematica e Fisica della Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, il Professore Xavier Vidaux della Università di Conception (Cile), terrà un seminario dal titolo 

«Connection between a result of Uchida and a result of Lüneburg with respect to the monogenicity of number fields»



ABSTRACT: In 1878, Dedekind gave a criterium to decide if a prime divides the index of an order in a maximal order. In this talk, after explaining our motivations from logic, we will discuss the connection between this criterium, a criterium by Uchida, and a criterium by Lüneburg. This is a joint work with Carlos R. Videla.
