All the hotels are at walking distance from the Railway Station of Caserta.

A private bus service has been organized to bring the participants back and forth from the Station to the Conference venue at Belvedere di San Leucio. The timetable is available here. The bus leaves from the right side of the square, as shown on the map.

Moreover, there is a local bus (AIR Campania, n. U06-CE) leaving from the Railway Station and going to San Leucio. The expected frequency, during the summer season, is one ride per hour.

A TAXI service is also available (https://serviziotaxicaserta.it/), with a fare to reach Belvedere di San Leucio from the Railway Station of 13 euro; this fare is valid only for the ICSLS participants. The phone number is 0039 0823 322400.

Information about the various possibilities to reach Caserta are given hereafter.

    • From Fiumicino International Airport - Roma:

We suggest to catch the Leonardo Express train going to Roma Termini, from which you can easily reach either Caserta or Napoli.

    • From Capodichino International Airport - Napoli:

You have several possibilities. You can reach the Central Station of Napoli (in Piazza Garibaldi) by Alibus which leaves from the airport every 10/15 minutes.

Alternatively, there is a bus going to the railway station of Caserta named ATC bus with a frequency of roughly one ride per hour.

Of course you can take a taxi. In this latter case, the trip to Caserta is rather expensive; therefore, we recommend to reach the Central Station of Napoli. The cost of the ride from the airport to the Central Station should be around 20 €.

    • From the Railway Station Roma Termini:

There are fast trains (Freccia Argento) going to Caserta Station and, much more frequently, fast trains (Freccia Rossa or Italo Treno) going to Central Station of Napoli.

    • From the Central Station of Napoli:

There are frequent regional trains (Trenitalia) going to Caserta Station.
